I absolutely love family photography and my family doesn’t manage to escape the lens often.  In this blog, Grandma has come to visit us and my youngest has talked her into a wee story time.

In-home activity shoots are my favourite way to narrate your family’s story.  When I work with your family on your session, we spend a little time getting to know each other first, before I even bring my camera out!  We can have a cuppa and a chinwag, which always relaxes the children (and the adults!) into our session together.

What do you enjoy doing at home with your kiddos or grandkiddos?  We love a bake-off, playing with trucks and wooden puzzles, but today, it was all about story time.

You can find magic wherever you look.

Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.

We adore all the Julia Donaldson/Axel Scheffler stories, but my favourite is The Monkey Puzzle.  I love the message within the story and have very fond memories of reading this with my eldest when she was around the same age her sister is now.

As you’ll see, story time with Grandma didn’t quite go as planned as I reckon that Miss Moya had other ideas!  Why listen to a story when you can tickle your Grandma’s tummy?!  Story times and tickles with Grandma, what better way to spend an afternoon?
